Free Homemade Energy – What is an Intertie Solar Power System?

Not everyone needs to go all the way from the grid. Completely free from the power company has a high cost. Maybe you want to save money on your electric bill and have the power company that you pay for a change. If this happens, you can create a certain kind of system that is between being completely out of power lines and totally dependent.

These systems are called systems Intertie tie or grid. The special about them is their method of backup storage. A solar power system uses the Intertie system of the utility company as a store. With this type of system you need not to buy and maintain a collection of deep cycle batteries. What happens is that when the sun is shining solar panels to provide your internal needs. You use what you produce, and any additional power generated is delivered into the grid. Continue reading »

Inter-VLAN Routing With Cisco Routers and Switches

Inter-VLAN routing is a process of transmission of network traffic from one VLAN to another via a router.
In order to communicate with devices on different VLANs together, you need to connect to a network device. For the record, each VLAN is a single broadcast domain, so that the computers are not communicating to default on separate VLANs on the situation. There is a way for computers to communicate this, it is called Inter-VLAN routing.

One way to implement inter-VLAN routing is to connect a router to the switch infrastructure. VLANs with unique IP subnets connected to the network. This configuration allows the subnet routing process in a multi-VLAN network. Easier when using a router, the routing between VLANs, router interfaces can be connected to separate VLANs. In these devices, VLAN communicates with the other through the router.

There are several methods for achieving inter-VLAN routing:

I. Traditional inter-VLANrouting. This type of packet routing process requires multiple physical interfaces on the router and switch.

ii. Router-on-a-stick. This is a type of router inter-VLAN configuration in which a single physical interface directs traffic across multiple VLANs on a network.
